STANDARD Print techniques
SIMPLE SPOT COLOUR
The original and still the best! This screen-printing method has the widest range of applications. We use variations of this basic technique with our advanced Plastisol and Water-Based inks to produce solid colour prints on almost any fabric, resulting in soft and durable graphics in up to 12 colours.
COMPLEX SPOT COLOUR
Whether it’s fine detail or complex shading and halftone work, our experience with high-end graphics means we can make your prints come to life using specialty techniques and the industry standard Pantone Colour Matching System (PMS Colours).
CMYK (4 COLOUR PROCESS)
We use an updated version of this traditional technique to produce bright full colour or grey scale prints in high resolution. Best suited to light coloured fabrics, or with a printed white background. A pattern of tiny dots is printed and overlaid in several transparent colours to give your print a crisp photographic look.
Sometimes you just want it to look old! Using detailed artwork techniques, and our special inks, We can give your design the soft, pre-worn and laundered look you might find in a second-hand or vintage store.
This versatile technique is a hybrid of CMYK and Spot colour printing. We achieve amazing results using opaque inks and fine halftone dots to blend the colours. This method is especially suited to complex graphics on dark fabrics.
OVERSIZE, ALL-OVER AND IMPACT PRINTS
When you want to go big! We can use it to print colours up to 90cm x 120cm! These jumbo-sized prints are great for All-Over designs on cut piece fabrics, Impact prints on T-shirts, and Oversize prints for all types of towels!
SPECIAL PRINT TECHNIQUES
We print a special adhesive onto the shirts, before applying Metallic Foil in a wide range of colours. Foil adds a brilliant shine, and can be used in combination with other print techniques to create amazing contrast elements in your artwork.
Do you identify as a Furry? This might be the print finish you have been looking for! This old-school look results from a plush velour pile applied to your t-shirts. Like foil, it can be used with other inks to create contrasting textured effects, but also works great on it’s own.
Our specialty inks come in a wide range of finishes. Choose from Puff, Glow-in-the-dark, Hi-Gloss, Super Soft, Cracked and Vintage Look.
This ink causes a chemical reaction in some t-shirt fabrics that removes the dye, creating a bright print with a super soft hand feel. We can use regular discharge to make a design look bleached out and vintage or add pigments for a brilliant coloured result. As not all fabrics will discharge, please ask us to source the correct garments when placing your order.
This is a not what you think iit is. We weren't sure what to put in here, so we left it until we think of what will go here. If you have an idea please let us know.
Metallic Inks add a shimmer effect to your design. We can add a metallic tint to your colours, or use our standard Gold and Silver option for prints that pop.
